October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. And this month, across the state, there are several ways to engage with the community, including domestic violence education campaigns, outreach events, and memorial activities. As schools start across the state, Ohio AmeriCorps members continue their work supporting Ohio’s K-12 students. Fourteen education-focused AmeriCorps programs will engage hundreds of individuals to creatively connect with students to support them academically, emotionally, and socially during the pandemic.

Every year ServeOhio hosts a 2-3 day training to launch programs in to the new service year! This year things looked a little different though, transitioning the experience to a virtual platform instead of in person!
