According to the most recent Volunteering and Civic Life in America Report published by the Corporation for National and Community Service, millions of Ohioans make volunteering a priority in their lives. More than 26% of Ohioans (2.51 million) volunteer and give over 268 million hours of service per year. This equates to $6 billion of in-kind service to their communities. April 15 – 21 is National Volunteer Week, which is an opportunity to recognize and thank the 2.5 million volunteers who lend their time, talent, and treasure to support causes they care about in their communities.
