AmeriCorps Alumni Spotlight: Improving Diversity in Medicine Through AmeriCorps Service

In 2020-2021 AmeriCorps project year, Gavin Wu served with Corps for Rural and Urban Successes in Health (CRUSH). Wu's service inspired him to continue providing opportunities in medicine to marginalized populations. Wu is currently a student at The Ohio State College of Medicine.

ServeOhio Welcomes Two AmeriCorps NCCC Teams to Ohio

ServeOhio is excited to welcome two AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) teams to Ohio this fall! NCCC strengthens communities and develops leaders through a full-time, team-based, residential national service program. NCCC partners with a variety of nonprofit organizations, tribal, federal, state, and local agencies to help meet a community need that would not be fully addressed without additional assistance. Learn more about the projects and how you or your organization can get involved with NCCC.
