The Culture of Diversity and Inclusion in National Service

Diversity, equity, and inclusion creates stronger communities. When everyone has a seat - and a voice - at the table, we can find solutions to address our most pressing problems and have a positive impact on the entire community. AmeriCorps members have a unique opportunity to be community conveners and help to ensure that everyone they serve has a voice that is heard.

Youth Commissioners Add AmeriCorps Member Voice to ServeOhio Discussions

Hannah Sublett, a current AmeriCorps member at the Cincinnati Zoo and Mary Jeter, a recent AmeriCorps Alum at Rural Action were recently appointed by the Governor to join the ServeOhio Commission. Hannah and Mary will add a valuable perspective to their fellow Commissioners by sharing their firsthand experience of serving in the AmeriCorps program.
