Grants + Funding

Since 1994, ServeOhio has supported hundreds of community-based organizations that engage local citizens to address their most pressing needs. ServeOhio administers Ohio AmeriCorps funding and awards grants for National Days of Service volunteer projects.

AmeriCorps Funding

ServeOhio provides grants to organizations that demonstrate they will engage AmeriCorps members to provide a service intervention that addresses a critical need in Ohio. We offer two funding competitions each year - a formula funding competition in the spring and a competitive funding compeition in the fall.

National Days of Service Funding

ServeOhio - in conjunction with it's partners AEP Foundation and The Corporation for National and Community Service's Volunteer Generation Fund - provides grants to support community service projects organized for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service (January), Global Youth Service Day (April), ServeOhio Day (June), and Make a Difference Day (October). Non-profit and public organizations in Ohio including, but not limited to, volunteer connector organizations, school districts, community colleges, universities, and local governments are eligible to apply.
