Senior Corps

Senior Corps connects today's over 55 with the people and organizations that need them most. We help them become mentors, coaches or companions to people in need, or contribute their job skills and expertise to community projects and organizations. Their contributions of skills, knowledge, and experience make a real difference to individuals, nonprofits, and faith-based and other community organizations throughout the United States. Anthony F. Geraci
City Year Columbus
2nd Year
AmeriCorps Member

There were many instances and moments during my college career that led me to City Year Columbus. Most of my time spent at The Ohio State University was devoted to service. I was a board member of Habitat for Humanity at OSU where I not only worked in the Columbus area, but also building houses in Santa Rosa de Copan, Honduras. I realized during my last years at OSU, that my life would have to take a path in the Non-Profit arena in some way or another. City Year was finally an avenue I could venture into that encompassed my passion for Non-Profit work, the belief that youth can change the world, and my commitment to service all in one.
